La série de compilations « Right Hand Man » de Koko Mojo met en lumière des guitaristes influents – voici le premier volume consacré à Lefty Bates (1920-2007). Le CD est présenté dans un digisleeve au design soigné, contenant des informations détaillées et des notes de pochette. Outre son Lefty Bates Combo, ce guitariste de blues de Chicago a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes, parmi lesquels les plus célèbres sont sans doute John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy et Etta James.
